if you're getting married this summer at the salt lake temple, there are a few places that you NEED to take pictures at. it's almost tradition, but also these spots are PERFECT for gorgeous wedding photos & there's still endless opportunities to have DIFFERENT wedding photos at these points, so you can still be creative while hanging onto a few traditions.Read More
daniel & laci's bridals were absolutely gorgeous. we went to a small reservoir in southern utah. it was the perfect location. the reservoir was the most beautiful backdrop for bridals. daniel & laci came ready to go & as soon as we all got to the location, we started taking photos. i had a bit of trouble getting there so we were running low on light, but we had just enough time to get their bridals finished. it was perfect. but enough chit chat. here are some of their gorgeous photos!

maureen & jj had their ceremony in their backyard. it was really neat because the backyard was the backyard of the home that they are living in now as a married couple-- that is just so special to me. what a better way to start off your life together than having the special memory of being married in your own backyard? and seriously when your backyard looks the way theirs did-- why the heck not?!
their ceremony was short, simple, and sweet. they chose to write letters to one another to read before the ceremony with their own special promises to one another. it was the sweetest expression of love that i've ever been able to witness. so instead of exchanging vows, they privately read their letters to one another & then their ceremony was very to the point & got them married to one another!!
their luncheon was held at a local church & they were surrounded by all of their loved ones. they ate delicious food, cut their cake, danced & just enjoyed the day that combined their two families.
one of my favorite parts of their luncheon was all of the dancing. there is a tradition in maureen's culture where the bride dances & everyone just throws money at her. it was seriously so awesome.
but my most favorite part of the whole day was seeing how incredibly happy maureen & jj were. their excited nerves were just so sweet. & then once they were married, they just couldn't stop smiling. it was the perfect day.
i had the best time working with maureen & jj! i wish them the absolute best & hope they have the happiest future together!
